Serras Faro-Farelo wind farms
The Serras Faro-Farelo wind farms, with a capacity of 128 MW, are located in the municipality of Chantada, in Lugo. The wind farms generate 346.9 GWh, enough to provide clean, affordable and indigenous energy to nearly 100,000 homes. This facility has been in operation since March 2005.

The Serras Faro-Farelo wind farms have generated local employment and boosted the business fabric of the area through the creation of jobs during the construction, operation and maintenance phase, and purchases from local companies and suppliers.
